October 19, 2014. Victor Gurniak, 27-year-old photojournalist and cofounder of LUFA agency, was killed during attack in the anti-terrorist operation zone of Lugansk Region.
Victor cooperated with such agencies as UNIAN, Reuters, LUFA and online version of INSIDER. He devoted many years of his life to the Ukrainian National Scout Organization of Ukraine PLAST.

He was among the best representatives of photojournalism. He was an excellent newspaper photographer with a sharp mind and bright pictures.

He left behind a wife and a toddler daughter.
